“Contact” marketing form drop down height messed up + how to include newsletter double-opt-in

Hi all,

I have two questions I hope someone can help me with:

1. I’m currently setting up a contact form – fields with a drop down work but when choosing an option, the option shows like this (see example type of company) — is there any way to change this? Maybe in the html?

2. I want to include a voluntary newsletter-subscription checkbox on this contact form – but people using this contact form and checking this box should need to confirm their subscription via double-opt in first.

While I know how this works for a pure newsletter-subscription marketing form, here I dont know how to do this, since the actual contact inquiry (and a contact being created automatically) should still be processed without this newsletter confirmation email of course.. how to do this?
