“My App Stack” is a new series where we dig in with top CMOs, CROs, CTOs and CEOs on just what apps they’re really using to run their business. I always learn a lot from these — they are in essence a best practices list from each leader. This week we have Carin van Vuuren up, CMO of Greenhouse.
#1. What’s your core stack of apps today?
- Marketing automation – Marketo
- ABM and intent – 6Sense
- A/B and CRO – Intellimize
- Conversational marketing – Drift
- Webinars – BigMarker
#2. What’s the number one top new app you’ve added the past year?
Klue — for competitive intelligence
#3. Other than your own, what app would you never let anyone take away from you no matter what:
We cannot do what we do without Marketo!
It’s the foundation of everything we do, from lead scoring, funnel analytics, and email marketing, to campaign operations, sales alerts and insights
#4. What’s your top “undiscovered gem” — an app you love but others may not have heard of?
For us it’s UserGems – it’s a SFDC app that alerts you when previous users start jobs at new companies so you can reach out to make a sale to them in their new role.
